Scott is a partner with the firm who enjoys working with his clients to resolve complex legal issues. Scott joined the firm in 2012. He is licensed to practice in Idaho state and federal courts. Scott maintains a diverse practice including family law, wills & trusts, property, personal injury, probate, business and contract cases. He also is a deputy prosecutor for the City of Burley in criminal matters and represents the children’s interests in Cassia County child protection cases. Scott has successfully tried several jury and court trials.
Scott was born and raised in Boise. He graduated from Brigham Young University and then completed his law degree at the University of Idaho College of Law. During law school, Scott worked as an editor for the Idaho Law Review and received the “Outstanding Associate Paper” award for his published analysis of health care reform and its effect on rural areas. He also served on the editorial staff for the Business Law Gems online publication. He currently serves as a board member with the Mini-Cassia Commerce Authority where he helps attract and retain businesses in the area. Scott lives in Burley with his wife and three children.
