Jason R. Naess is a partner with the firm and enjoys the variety of opportunities and challenges presented in representing clients’ interests. Whether protecting financial concerns, preparing or reviewing loan or real estate contracts, or helping clients organize and establish their businesses, Jason looks forward to understanding each client’s particular legal challenges and helping them to protect and preserve their assets and interests. Jason joined the firm after a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Jim D. Pappas of the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho, and his practice includes representation of creditors and, occasionally, the chapter 7 trustee, in bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to law school, Jason worked as a City Planner in Colorado, and he holds Master’s Degrees in Urban Planning and Public Administration. Jason represents the City of Burley Planning and Zoning Commission, the Burley Library Board of Trustees, the City of Burley as a city prosecutor, and other clients in their economic development and real estate efforts. Jason speaks Spanish, and is licensed to practice before state and federal courts in Idaho.

Jason serves in the Burley Rotary club, and coaches youth soccer. He and his wife, Megan, are raising four children, including three active boys, and he and his family are always looking for new ways of harnessing that energy to experience the many outdoor activities available in the Mini-Cassia area and beyond.
